Reliability and efficiency for all Compressed Air Dryer and Compressed Air Filter Levels

Depending on your application or industry, you will need dry, clean or even sterile compressed air.

Our range of KAESER compressed air dryers and compressed air filters are high-quality designs that ensure reliable protection against condensate damage for your systems and processes.

Compressed Air Dryer Range

The atmospheric air drawn into a compressor is a mixture of gases that always contain water vapour. Unfortunately, air under pressure has less capacity to hold moisture. Thus this results in condensate in your compressed air.

The most common and cost-effective way to eliminate moisture problems is to use a refrigerant air dryer. A refrigerant compressed air dryer cools the air and removes all the condensed water prior to reheating the cooled air against the incoming untreated air.

Moisture in your air can cause significant reliability problems. However, after installing one of the models from our compressed air dryer range, many customers exclaim they wish they’d done it sooner!

Compressed Air Filters

Compressed Air Filters are the key components for producing compressed air to all purity classes. On average, an air compressor sucks up to 190 million particles of dirt, hydrocarbons, viruses and bacteria with every cubic meter of atmospheric air. The air compressor itself can only remove the larger particles. The majority of the contaminants remain in the compressed air.

This means that for most applications, careful treatment of the air is necessary. Clean, quality compressed air maximises air-tool service life. This ensures pneumatic machinery and control systems operate at the peak of their performance and keeps pipes and valves free from contaminants.

Compressed air filters therefore not only reduce service, maintenance and repair costs but can also reduce initial investment costs.

Condensate Technology

Condensate is an unavoidable result of air compression. It is a chemically aggressive fluid that mainly consists of water, but also contains oil and dirt particles (eg: rust). If not reliably drained off at all collection points, it can cause operational disruption and severely damage the compressed air system through corrosion.

Condensate drains remove condensate separated in centrifugal separators, air receivers, refrigeration dryers and filters from the compressed air system. They are therefore indispensable components for efficient compressed air treatment and disruption-free compressed air supply.

The electronic level-sensing controlled ECO DRAIN from KAESER provides the perfect solution while being highly cost-effective and reliable.

Waste Management

All air compressor condensate usually contains trace amounts of oil. Local authorities are becoming increasingly active in enforcing the correct discharge of waste streams. They regard the installation of any oil retention system to be beneficial and essential to maintaining effluent compliance.

KAESER’s AQUAMAT condensate treatment systems will ensure that contaminant levels are kept well within regulation limits. AQUAMAT oil-water separators remove dispersed oil and are a compliant treatment of condensate, dealing directly with condensate where it arises.
